One Coffee Cup A Day : Creativity on a schedule

The idea for this project is that for 30 days, these people would create a new type of coffee cup every 24 hours, from idea to ready-to-ship.

The production is done using the new Rapid Prototyping technology, and each of the cups is available for purchase.

Pictures of all of the cups are available after the jump.

Rubish Rainbows: Trash turned Art that’s actually appealing!

This isn’t an article or a webapp as we normally review at 86Words, but it was too good to skip.

Betty Jo Designs has managed to find a way to turn absolutely worthless trash into visually attractive art. Now THAT is reuse!

Here are a few samples, but hit the jump for lots more!

This one is my favorite and it really just takes several of the others and puts them together in a nice color layout.

This one also has a nice color layout and can be seen in the bottom-right corner of the first image…

There are some that focus on only one or a few colors, like this red-yellow one. It can be seen in the first picture as well.
