BgPatterns doesn’t have the “Zing” that some of the art apps we review do, but it’s very well done, extremely easy to use, and almost guarantees a nice result!
BgPatterns.com is just what it sounds like, a webapp that lets you create BackGround (BG) patterns. The process is quick and easy and you can save your patterns locally or add them to the online catalog.
If you’ve been looking for that just-right pattern for your web page, this might just be your solution!
You can change both the foreground and background colors…
Choose the base image from a slew of choices in a bunch of categories
And of course browse the requisite galleries of user submitted designs

And I was afraid everyone was going to think this one was lame!
Glad you liked it! (I hope you find something to use it for!). I know it’s been a long time since it was common, but Windows allows a tiled, patterned background (and includes a few lame ones). Also, they would be nice as website backgrounds.
